Spark plugs for 07 SI?
Hi all,
I've searched and tried to find some spark plugs for my 07 SI but can't seem to find any decent ones. The local kragen/autozone stores only have the bosch spark plugs and I heard that the stock spark plugs for my SI are NGKs. Why downgrade correct? I'm also looking for some spark plug wires as well. Any idea where I can get some? Let me know what's up!
Thanks in advance.

So I'm probably going to make myself look stupid with this question, but if there are no spark plug wires, then how do the plugs get the power to make a spark?

ignition coils... check out this link from wikipedia, it gives a basic understanding how they work... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignition_coil

coil on plug ignition FTW!
you do realize that Honda claims 100k miles before you need a tuneup..
unless you are running boost and need to change the heat range of your plugs then there really shouldn't be any reason to change them.

100k miles is a nice interval for tuneups. I really like how Hondas are so easy to maintain. I wonder if the plugs could last as long as the plugs in my old car (1995 ford taurus) did...240k miles!

I have my old plugs from when they installed the supercharger. I can get the number off them if that would help at all.
Let me know

Re: Spark plugs for 07 SI? (Hellzcivic)
Hey thanks Hellz,
I checked with NAPA autoparts, they have the NGKs and they did say that the interval change is at 100k...but thats a regular driver's change. People like me need to change it every 20-30k intervals because we are hard drivers lol...example: red-lining the car every time I come out of a corner hahahahahahahah. I want my car to be in the best shape for next Saturday...I'm planning to go Test and Tune my car at Sacramento, CA Raceway. Hoping to hit mid 14s to the lows. wish me luck!

Seriously, you still probably do not need new plugs.
