Re: r18
What the F*** is going on in here? Why don't you take your LX and put a subwoofer system in it and compare bass sound with other r18s. I don't know anyone racing r18s to EVEN KNOW what their times are...you know?
This was a silly post.

Re: r18
I bought my 07 EX civic about a year ago for good gas mileage and had no intent to race it. But, I find myself as Speedworld Race track in Surprise,AZ every saturday night (it's the murdered out EX if you see me.) I have well over 150 runs on my car and the fastest ET i've ran is 15.8. My average ET is from 15.9 to 16.1. The SI's that I see running on average is 15.5. Some faster some slower but on Avg thats the times I see. I can usually "tree" (better reaction time) an Si and cut it close at the end or maybe even win. I've beat GSR's and older Si's. I've done intake and exhaust and thats it. So, for as low as horse power as these R18a's put out, if they are behind a good driver, you can make a good showing at the track. F what the dyno says.
FYI .. a new guy to the track usually has a reaction time between .500 to .700 on average. If they have been to the track a couple times they usually have a .300 to .500 reaction time on avg. Mine is usually between .020 to .080 so thats where I make up the extra time.

Re: (08CivicLX)
reaction times don't add into your final time so quit making it an excuse for running slow times.
