same here</TD></TR></TABLE>
ITR's have gone low 14's high 13's with drag radials and open header
The new Si with open header and drag radials should do the same easily
The one kid ran a 14.9 with a 2.3 60 with a 2.0 60 thats easily a mid 14 sec run. With slicks and open header I bet some Si's will see low low 14/ high 13's at low sea level tracks with 1.8 60's
Give it some time and the skilled drivers will show the potential

Haters
I own an si and the comments I see here are just plain rediculous... I heard some kid say it felt like a 17sec car and then another one that says 14's are slow. Find me another 4 cyl n/a that is as fast as the rsx type-s or si... Guys I AM TAKING COUPES WITH SWAPS AND SOME HATCHES WITH SWAPS.... Plus a bunch more ****. I cant complain so Im fukin happy.. You dont believe me and you want to set up a race with a swapped coupe and me, just pm me and Ill give you my fone#...

i just want to see it happen with my own eyes. i don't doubt that its impossible, i just want to see it when i'm at a track event.

Active Aero did it with his ITR with CRV wheels and I did it with my EK hatch with a C5 which was basically the same weight and 160whp on drag radials
If you want to see it get to know some people who can drive and youll see the real potential

Your EK hatch is not the same weight as an ITR with full interior.
It's lighter.
Also, I am sick and tired of people talking big stuff about ActiveAero and his God-sent quarter-mile driving skillZ.
I don't believe ITR's run 13's. I want solid visual proof of a stock ITR hitting such a thing, hell, even one with bolt-on's, because they don't do much.
Same goes for the Civic Si. I own one, and I can tell you right now, if I lined up with an SRT-4, I would get my *** smoked.
Do you people REALLY think you're better than the professional drivers (i.e. magazine testers)?
Whatever, I don't care. You people can think what you wish. Until you can come up here, and lay down those times, I don't want to hear any more about how people driving skills must suck.

First off my EK with the C5 swap weighed 2440 withoutspare or rear seats or panels the weight with an ITR is VERY similar
Second with the right bolts on ITRs have laid down 190+whp ---- hell I laid down 176whp with a vafc, crappy DC header and some cam gear tuning without a wide band
With bolt-ons and 190whp I would laugh if an open header/slicked ITR didnt go 13's --
I went 14.0@98 with a 2.08 60 at 3000ft elevation with 158whp, Si ECU redline, 2600lbs with me in the car at 150lbs ---- easily a solid 13 sec pass at a sea level track
If a stock tire ITR goes 14.7@98-99mph with a 2.3-2.4 60' do the math on it ---- slicks and 20 more whp will propel it into 13's
The fact remains most fwd launches are hindered by driver skill and tire selection --- with a good driver, slicks and open header I have no doubts low 14/high 13 sec passes are a no brainer at sea level tracks and with a reflash/ header the Si will easily go 13's in drag mode
As far as my driving skills I have a few drag trophies and a track championship to at least tell me I okay --- magazine testers are pansies when launching FWD cars and their 60's show 2.4-2.5 is the norm for them while testing cars --- new car/street tires/wussie launches = not the true potential

2srt's run 13's and are turbo charged, no **** they're faster. that's like saying, a Z06 would spank a neon srt-4. See where i'm going with this?

Re: new si 1/4 mile (lakerhater4)
last friday i ran my 4door si with i/rh/e and i got a 14.0 @ 101. so with slicks i think i could pull a 13.8.

this thread is pretty inaccurate with the times.
everyone in here is at a different elevation and the temperatures are different, the temp of the track, and the conditions of the environment like wind and so forth.
now if u give all that info and say what time u ran, then it would be more accurate.

imo with slicks u would run slower, just cuz the si is underpowered and u would probly bog off the line if u warmed up the tires. unless u just drive thru the water to the line.

I agree, the car is geared so short and has enough hp that it is difficult to leave hard without spinnin, I ran 14.8 in my stock SI and i believe on drag radials it could pick up about 2-3 tenths or more

Re: new si 1/4 mile (ju5tchi11in)
I'm thinking about taking my 07 Si to the track around here in a couple weeks. If I do, I'll post up my timeslip. Mine is completely stock, same as the day I bought it in every aspect.
When you guys race, do you race with the VSA on or off, or does it not make any difference?

I raced with it off, left the line at about 3k and full throttle shifted every gear, and went 14.8
