Re: My car is in bad shape! :(
Well. Second Honda dealership confirmed the diagnosis. So I guess i'll try and get this thing fixed. But there's one more hurdle. The head itself. If it's warped then that creates a new problem. And with my luck so far.....it probably IS warped.
Joy! Or maybe the head is cracked. And maybe the piston rings are broken and my car is losing compression. And maybe the whole engine is f*cked. Maybe my whole car is turning into a heaping pile of dog ****. Maybe tomorrow morning a f**king meteorite will fall on the damn thing and save me the trouble.

well I doubt the head is wraped. But if it is then I suggest you get a new one and do cams and **** to it. Also I would have a a compression test done and such.

Re: My car is in bad shape! :(
it's already draining me enough having to come out of pocket with this repair. Getting cams and flashpro is not an option right now. Maybe if I'm able to get reimbursed I'll be able to pick up a new RH and flashpro.....and that's a big "if".

if the head is warped you can likely get it planed, no? how would it be different than any other honda?
it's not like a warped deck (block).

depending on how warped it is, it will raise your compression because you're bring the valves closer to the piston. also so you're lowering the volume of the cylinder, but you're still running the same amount of air/fuel. so you'll make power, but it wont be noticed.

Re: My car is in bad shape! :(
Well that's it. This is as far as I could go. F**k this ****. i've tried way to hard just to have it end like this. So that's how it works fellas. If Honda doesn't wanna warranty something..........guess what..........there's not a DAMN thing you can do about it. They could say mysterious alien electromagnetic forces fell from the sky and magically locked ur engine up and guess what. There's not a DAMN thing you can do to fight them. Corporate office just holds hands and sings Kumbaya with the dealerships and guess what.........there's not a DAMN thing you can do about it. So for those of you who might have a problem like this later on with your car. Bend over, take the big fat Honda ***** from Honda and shove it right up your own ***.........cause they're gonna f**k you regardless.
I'm fixing this car and then getting rid of it.

Looks like Honda's got the BBB in their pocket. This is right about the time where I would organize a boycott against purchasing Honda products.......but that endeavor would be way to great and far to expensive and time-consuming......and of course it wouldn't work. Honda would probably just have me assassinated.

Re: My car is in bad shape! :(
i would have had to call them and ask them what the age limitations are! Cuz to me that sounds like a load of ****. But I would get have the head looked at when you take the head off which you can do yourself if you try hard enough and have a buddy help. Its scary at first but just take pictures for reference if you need to look back at something.
So get the head off have it looked at and if needed only IF get it planed like Built said and put it back on. I would take your DCRH off and try to sell it locally for like 100-80 bucks or something. I'll find you a link toa DIY for a headgasket replacement.
