two ways i know of:

a) OBD2 scanner - find a shop/dealer that will let u use theirs and clear code.. if for whatever reason, the CEL light came on, still exists, it will come back on in a matter of days, meaning you need to pinpoint the problem. if everything is OK the CEL won't come back.

b) drive for a few days so that your OBD2 readiness monitors check itself to see if it can shut of that CEL. i would recommend doing this. so drive around for a few days and if the CEL doesn't shut off, i would take it to the dealer to get it checked out.

disconnect y0 battery for 10 minutes 2 clear out the ECU and all electronic's memory. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CAR'S RADIO CODE!! IF U DON'T YOU WON'T BE ABLE 2 GET UR RADIO WORKING!! Newayz it should be on a sticker in the glovebox, that is where mine is located on my Fit.

Be careful with that...Many MAF-equipped cars will go into limp mode when the MAF breaks. Happened on my Nissan, though that car doesn't have a MAP sensor as well.

i wouldn't disconect the battery.. i would drive around normally and let the ECU shut off the CEL by itself.. or use an obd2 scanner to clear the code only.. if u put everything back the way its suppose to be the light should come off by itself.. if you disconnect the battery, you're clearing the OBD2 of all its settings and everything it's learnt, which is in a way, more than what u want. you should get another opinion from someone who's had this code.. i wouldnt recommend disconnecting the battery from every obd2 car just to clear a code.

nevermind, i just asked my dad and he said the quickest way is to disconnect the abttery to clear the code.. i was under the impresion that its bad for obd2 cars but he said its better than driving around and waiting for the light to come off cuz that would actually take longer.. so yea, disconnecting the battery is the way to go.. but if the light comes back on, you know what u need to do.

told ya.... It's funny cuz all dad's know that, my dad told me that years ago and i tried and it and it worked. The car will go into Limp mode if u try 2 drive it and clear it by itself so the best way is disconnect the bat.
