Default k24 block in 06 si

i am thinking of putting in a k24 block and keeping my k20 head so i get a lower compression ratio but better flow.

first i need to build out the block, any suggestions? preferences on rods, pistons, etc?

No problem, you have to start somewhere.

Don't forget there is a search feature that works very well. 9 times out of 10, you can find some kind of discussion about the topic of interest.

true story....just a little more money to put one together compared to it's b series counter part.

EDIT: well it could be the same if you really hustle for the parts.

if there was any new info on this, i dont think youd have to raise a 5 month old thread back from the dead. but on a different note, why buy an 07 and swap the motor? pretty stupid if you ask me. let the motor live a little before you perform a frankenstein on it.

i believe it will. but most ppl just take the block and cams since the cams have better duration.
