if ur in socal and you have the s2 header, how are you going to deal with the emissions issue when you have to test? Also have you been pulled over yet for exhaust modification?

How effective is the launch control system? Noticeable improvement on launch? Wheel hop much (on regular street tires)?

If he bought the car new, there is a 6 year smog abatement. Meaning you only have to pay a small fee during registration be be excluded from the "every other year" smog law. This is why cops is CA write tickets for any non-factory vehicle modification (exhaust, intakes, etc). If you get written up for a modification, even if you have a CARB sticker for it, you lose the abatement privalage have to smog the car to clear the ticket.

What the hell is with the shift from first to second? A couple times you hang it around like 9k and take forever to shift.

Sick car though man. Thing flies. Makes me want a tuner really bad.

Thanks for the reply about the smog issue...I have an O7 and live in socal so I was just wondering how he would do it. I just got an exhaust mod ticket and didnt really know how to go about beating or getting around it cause my exhaust doesn't exceed 95db allowed by the law. Anyway, Charged Si I wrote you a pm a couple of weeks ago, don't know if you got it or not basically asking that question about smog. Also, I like the route you went with the supercharger and I am also going that route. In trying to keep carb legal with the header do you advise just going with the comptech or keeping it stock cause i haven't seen any real dynos or results from that header?

Car sounds really good, factory exhaust with header/intake? Been to the dyno/track?

Also is it fairly quiet on the highway? Did the mods hurt your mpg any?

Exhaust isn't listed, throttle body, header, intake but no exhaust which is why I asked...

I'd also like to know at what point does it become obtrusive.

Why would they describe it as 70mm? Thats typically how you'd rate a throttle body size? Just the way they decided to do it I guess?

How is the car on the highway? Is the noise intrusive?
