I am trying to replace wiper blades on my Honda Civic 07 COUPE. The wiper blades are almost 4 years old :) I bought a pair of new Rain-X latitude which are supposed to fit my COUPE. The problem is I cannot remove the original blades from the car. All instructions I have seen have a different mechanism. Do you guys have any idea how to replace them on 07 coupe? Any advice would highly appreciated. Thanks!

take those back they dont work on our cars..I know, I tried..get wiper blade inserts from honda..the end of the wiper blade has a little piece that you slide off and pull the wiper blade out, then slide the new one in..very simple actually takes a few minutes..and MUCH cheaper...

Advance auto has blades that fit those cars, I had a problem finding blades to fit my 06, I can't remember the name of the blade, but they were way cheaper than buying them from the stealer.

Go to advance and they will put them on for you free, if you have problems doing it yourself.

I payed $6 for both wiper blade inserts from the dealership..pretty good price I'd say...

lol no it may be because I worked at a body shop and had them call and order them so I got them for cost..

Actually, the RAIN-X Latitude wipers do fit and work fine. It takes a 28" and a 24" wiper. I installed them on my 07 Civic Coupe after initially having trouble following the directions included with the wiper blades, but then finding this video on YouTube:

Stick with the OEM blades then you can just replace the rubber inserts instead of replacing blades everytime.

but it is good to replace the blades some times because over time the old blade will stretch out and not hug the window as tight

I have replaced my blades only ONCE in my 7 years of ownership of this car. Still works great. But I'm using Rain-x windshield washer, so, that does most of the job.

The OE blades are easier to install and cheaper than buying entire blade assemblies... the RainX blades might fit, but they are a lot more expensive... keep the OE blades and use the RainX fluid... same thing isn't it?!!

The oe inserts are way cheaper than the rain x or bosch icons. way easier to install as well. I also figured I got about 4 years out of them.
