hfp kit loose
i had the hfp bodykit installed several weeks ago. after picking up my car after the installation, i noticed that some parts of the kit was not firmly against the bumpers. there is a small gap between the kit and the front bumper on the left side. there are other spots that has a similiar problem. can this be due to a bad installation?

Re: hfp kit loose (civic1234)
the gap between the bumper and bodykit is getting much wider. now, the gap can literally fit a toothpick in it. is it true that if it doesnt get fixed, it would worse? do they just re-install the same kit or need a new one? if you are standing at the side of the car, are you suppose to see the car original "side skirt" underneath the kit? like, when i look, i can see that a kit was placed over it.n looks kinda ugly that you can see the gap underneath the side skirt and showing the side of the car and all. i already made appt with the dealer bc i hear some funny sound when driving. and the sunroof is making funny sound when i pop it.

Re: hfp kit loose (civic-cpe)
I had the same issue. I took mine back to the dealer and fix it at no charge.
They use a super strong double stick tape, but it takes several hours for the glue on the tape to set once it is put down. If the car gets wet before the glue on the tape sets properly, it does not stick too well.
In my case they removed the kit, and retaped everything. I have not had a problem since.
Good luck
