Default Free Wheels

One of my best friends back in ABQ gave me his old auto-x wheels from his prelude. After some work, this is how they came out. Not much tech but might give someone some ideas. Before and after photos. Speed Master 17x7, 42 offset. Ace hardware antique gold with clear coat.

^ i agree. all you need is a drop and 7mm spacers to bring the offset out to 35 and it would be flush. looks good for free wheels man.

Great job but how is this specifically related to the 2006 and up Honda Civic? This would be better suited in the wheel tire forum. Additionally, there is zero tech involved in this.

Sorry to sounding like an ***, but there is very little tech here on H-T. I read ALOT of these threads and posts over the years and have come to realize, 1 in 15+ are useful. Most are counterproductive. I have an 09 civic si. I redid some wheels. Thought I'd share an idea. Next time I’ll know better. One thing I've learned in life is, if you can't say anything nice, there no point in saying anything at all.

So you felt the need to perpetuate the problem? Nice job!

So wouldn't you think that this NON 8TH gen civic related topic would be better suited in the wheel and tire forum where it truly belongs? You didn't even go into details, looks more like a brag thread to show off your free wheels, and your new car.

Looking at your quote below perhaps you should take your own advice, go back to where you learned this and try again. I didn't make any derogatory comments, merely stated you could have posted this in the right forum. I even said good job.

It seems pretty common place for people to post random off topic and out of place crap in here simply because this is the generation vehicle they drive. Whether people want to face it or not, this forum is a TECHNICAL forum and not the general discussion and debate forum for 8th gen civics.

If you are looking for tech, that is the wheel and tire section. Please read the headers. Now if you looking at the forum headers, this is listed in the specifics portion.

Here is your "derogatory comments". All you had to do is read it and move on. There are 150 views on the thread that could have done what you did, but they did not. You are the only one, and this is not the first place.

I am so glad you write the rules here. Moderator, please close this due to the start of a bitch session that was not the purpose of this thread. Thanks

Please look up the definition of derogatory. You missed it by about 10 miles.

Synonyms belittling, contemptuous, decrying, degrading, demeaning, depreciative, depreciatory, disdainful, disparaging, scornful, slighting, uncomplimentary

1 : detracting from the character or standing of something —often used with to, towards, or of
2 : expressive of a low opinion

Additionally, this topic isn't even model specific. And if by chance you think it is model specific just because you own an 8th gen or the wheels were fitted on an 8th gen, well you are wrong there.

Made you smile after that one. LOL

Nothing more direct than mine. Mine-brag/ yours-pitty. I think we both got your points across. Maybe in the near future we can share some TECH. No hard feeling.
