Yeah i see what you mean by beta, just wished they come out with the fix for the secondary O2, which i think was a major difference between the 2 correct, i'm sure they're others, but that is sorta a important thing, lol.

well after much thought, and getting a price quote today, i will be going with Cobb, however it's still going to be a few months before i purchase, so i'm not worried wether the O2 fix isn't on there yet, and that the full line software isn't out yet, just their beta, so maybe in a few months when i'm ready to part with the cash it will be, but until then, i can wait.

I own an AccessPort and can tell you that it is a kickass piece of equipment. Just get a universal cell phone holder and it will act as a gauge for any signal coming to that OBDII port.
Such as: http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?ID=4478
The load times aren't bad at all and they are constantly working on it. If you go to the cobb forums and post a question they will respond very quickly. If you call Cobb you never get the run around. Their customer service is top notch. I've been using Cobb for years and they are an excellent company.
The Hondata costs the exact same, but only offers tuning and datalogging...without any real time display of ANYTHING.
Cobb seems like the better option.

damn that is one huge screen on the accessport. But your point is proven. Yet there are laptops that are so small that you can mount like the accessport. laptops have a 8.3 inch screen called net books. Very convient. and only $250

you see that was one of the main reason why i choose the AP, so i wouldn't have to purchase a laptop, or netbook and external cd drive just to fully utilize the device while in the car, i don't think alot of people thought about how much more it may cost you for teh flashpro in teh long run.
don't forget you'd also need an extenal cd drive, though not expensive, still extra cash that will need to be shelled out, since the net books don't have a cd drive.

Most of these netbooks don't have cd-rom drives just USB ports. Could I download the entire flashpro manager software to the netbook or will I absolutely be required to install it via an installation cd?

Re: Flashpro release date
On there web page it had FAQ'S and it said will it have control over DBW? And they gave a funny sounding response that said. "Yes is will but we don't chnage anything to do with it because it works pretty well from the factory" I guess that's how the aussies talk or something.
