Re: which car is better?
Are they really? Didn't they dis-continue the RSX? How can the RSX be "so much better" as you put it when they share virtually identical componentry?

yea but you know what? (this isnt directed towards anyone) but me living in so-cal and seeing so many rsx's, no matter what you do to one, its always going to look like another i had just seen at some point in time. at least with the 8th gen, there is more diversity in the looks than the rsx-s.

well because its acura brand and you'll get the leather seats. the 210 hp and the civic body looks outdated compared to the RSX (headlights, fenders, front bumper). I mean if the Si never came to the sedan i would have bought a used 2005 RSX-S instead thats all i'm saying

rsx is lighter by like... 50lbs? give or take.
i'd rather have lsd and an extra 50lbs.

And again, posting this question in a civic forum is completely pointless.
I'm done here.

Actually with the new rating system (SAE) it's 201 so they are not quite the same. Acura has 4 more ponies.

Re: which car is better?
The FA5's first debuted as a MY2007, so any discussion about how a sedan is better, is beyond the scope of this thread. Moreover as far as this thread/poll is concerned, the comparison is between a 2006 FG2 and 2006 DC5S.

There is no such thing as an rsx 4 door. So the most alike comparison between these cars would be the rsx-s and 2 door civic si. In that case i like the rsx better. Lsd is the main difference that the civic has, but if that meant so much to me its still nowhere near enough to make me choose the si - i would just add lsd to the rsx.

I never said a sedan is better. I really don't think one car here is better than the other, its all about which one i like more.

2. Leather and hot outside temps don't mix. Especially when you wear shorts.
3. There is no dif between the DC5 A3 and the FG2/FA5 Z3 in terms of HP.
4. You can get a factory kit and up the exterior of the civic. Also, if you have the cash, you can go ahead and get the sedan CTR conversion. They also have kits for the coupe that recently hit the market.

Re: which car is better?
I own an EP3 which has a very similar platform to the RSX-S (minus a good engine) and from personal experience this suspension design is very limited in its performance potential. I would get the FG2 11 times out of 10 simply for that reason.

Honda Integra
Correct in hotter climates. How short are your shorts?
The difference is IVTEC on both intake and exhaust. The A3 produced 160 hp while Z3's make 197 hp.
The DC5's had the Acura A-Spec kits that include aero bits, wheels, etc. that parallel Honda's HFP kits.
