Default Amsoil Synthetic any good??

I resently because a distributor for Amsoil products and I was looking through the oils and they have a synthetic that lasts for 25,000 miles!! Has anyone used this at all and is it any good? I run Mobil 1 full synthetic in my 07' Si and if this stuff is any good I was thinking about using it since I get it for Whole sale...

Thanks

From what I've read, Mobil1 5w-30 is just so-so; I ran that for a majority of the life of my FA5 and also Valvoline Synpower 5w-30 for a while as well (prior to reading up on Mobil1).

I haven't used Amsoil but did use Royal Purple for a bit. It was way too pricy. I recommend Mobil1 0w-40 as it is very good and reasonably priced - supposedly it's almost like a race oil. Look it up on bobistheoilguy.com.

Yea the Mobil 1 5w-30 isn't that great. Check out bob the oil guy.

I have used amsoil 5w30 signature series synthetic on my turbo fa5 and it has been great (3k interval changes though). Will probably be switching to rotella t6 5w40 diesel oil :giggle: for future changes since its supposed to be really good as well and is significantly cheaper than the amsoil signature series and since I am not intending to take advantage of the long change intervals I think I can save myself a little money by using the rotella.

My car ran with Royal Purple when it was brand new till about 60k. I switched to mobil 1 because of cost. But I have recently become a distributor for Amsoil so I get it for $7 bucks a quart which is about what Mobil 1 is going for around here. So I figured I'd see if it was any better.

$7/quart is a really good price. I've always paid around $10.
