2007 Coupe EX rims
BEFORE READING- don't post if u got some bullshit comment, i just want some answers so i can get rolling.
Hey, sorry i DID search.. but it didn't turn anything up, maybe it's an issue on my end of the internet.. but ANYWAYS..
-> Lowering you're front 2.0" and 1.75" in the rear with megan lowering springs does sound enticing. I have my creditcard out right now about to drop some funds on these things with some rims and low-pro's to go along with them. the thing is..
2" seems DRASTIC, i had around a 2" in my precidia(YA LAUGH IT UP) back in the day, and i had to watch scraping all day long. I'm worried if i toss on 17"-18" rims onto my EX with a 2"front-1.75"rear drop i'll be scraping lots.....
->As well, RIMS.. now i know i could of searched the net and gotten this answer but here it will be quicker for a bunch of SI junkies to just tell me.
I like open/lots of spoked rims in the 18" fashion a lot. What is the EX stock specs for it's rims.. offset, etc. This guy at the shop is telling me wrong numbers. (no i wont be taking it there.) So i'm definately new to tires and rims. But whats the deal with tires, i want those sexy low profile things for sure..
If people could shed some light on these 2 topics for me that'd be really helpful

just do it... you'll be fine. PLAN for 17's anyway, cuz those will just flat out look better...
I have a Tein S-Tech drop (only 1.4f / 1.3r) and it's not as low as I wanted it. But with the 17's, it just fits better and I don't have the urge to want to go lower anymore. I mean I still do but for now, i'm content and don't wanna eff with it for awhile... here are some pics for reference...
Here it is in stock form
On that same day, 1hr 30mins later - lowered on Tein S-techs
2006 Civic EX on Tein S-techs with 2007 OEM Civic Si wheels/tires
and the most recent of pics

And why 17's over 18's ?

Here's what I did
Search For "offset"
Forum "Honda Civic (2006 - current)"
Data Set "Recent Content"
Search In Topic Title
» Search Results
Input on different wheel Size/Width/Offset Combos?
17 x 7.5 45 offset fit no issues?

try searching in the archived and recent...you usually get more results in archive
you should have found something either way...try searching harder next time

Re: (faster Type R)
okay.. u need to read, i am searching in archived.. recent.. all possible settings with any words or characters, the SEARCH doesnt work. not me being a dumbass. anyways, so with a 2" drop, 18's would be a little too big ? so i should go with 17's ?
