2007 Civic Si. Please read.
Hi Guys. I got a 2007 Civic Si.
Stock right now.
I have to buy a new clutch for it and will likely be pairing it with a flywheel(lite)
I"m looking at Exedy stage 1 as a replacement.
My question is the following:
If you had a friend who could get you a good deal on a
Competition Clutch Kit+flywheel or Clutch Master .. Would you choose any of those 2 brands over an Exedy Stage 1?
Thanks in advanced. Mainly Daily Driving! as you all know you cannot help but ride it once in a while hard.
Thanks in advanced.

The Exedy stage 1 is by far superior to the other 2. Many praise it for being the best oem replacement and light upgrade clutch you can get.
As for the other 2, they have many complaints with feel and engagement not being smooth.

He never really mentioned being completely stock... but like Vladd said maybe just an Exedy oem replacement will be more then enough.
Also lightweight flywheel isn't need... if you are using it for a dd do you really want the hassle in traffic?

Exedy OEM replacement has very light pedal effort and smooth engagement. I wouldn't go too light on the flywheel for DD use. The stage 1 paired with a light fflywheel is a little annoying for the street, from personal experience. The engagement is a more eager and the pedal effort is higher. I would go with the stock flywheel with a stage1 for DD use if you really want the stage 1.
If this really is just a DD, just get the exedy KHC10 (OE replacement) kit and MAYBE a lighter flywheel.
