Default 07 Galaxy Gray Paint Issues!?!?

I have an 07 and I was wondering if anyone else has had paint issues with this color. A bird or two **** on my hood a couple days ago, I cleaned it today, paint appears to be eaten away. Between me and my wife we've had 10 civics, this has never happened to me from getting bird **** on my car. I know it is possible with the acididy of bodily fluids but this is a first for me in 11 years of driving. Is this a warrenty issue? Or am I **** out of luck as I think I will be?
Thanks
Eric

"Wear and tear" I think your paint has warranty only if it starts to peel or bubble.

the paint on the new civics is absolutely horrible! but i think your out of luck for having honda warranty it.

i was told if you get a reputable detailing service that will stand behind their work 100%, you may be able to argue against honda.

I just got an '08 si 4 door last month. I just finished putting a double coat of wax on it earlier this week for this very reason. Think it's about the only thing you can do to help protect the paint from "crap" like this. lol

newer cars are coming with water borne paints instead of solvent base paint so its more vulnerable to getting destroyed by bird ****, acid rain, salt during winter ....... did honda offer you a Teflon coating when you bought the car? its supposed to help with the water borne paints you can buy the coating online cheaper than letting the dealer do it its like putting on wax but protects it rather than just making it look good, Simoniz makes it.
