If anybody has info on the throttle cable conversion for the 06 si, please let me know where i could find it! I know the car is new and not many if any have done this im just curious if anybody has becuase ive seen it done in some mags but no details about it. Thanks for your help

don't do it.
you will lose your cruise control. just get an intake, it will help immensely in throttle response.

i was thinking of the cai, but i keep hearing that people are having problems with install, quality and cels.

So you think the install of a piece of pipe and a filter is hard
but you want to rip out your throttle system?

i didnt say i think its hard, all i said is that people were having problems with install meaning fitment, cel snd quality. im very able to install an intake as im very good with working on cars.

i believe the reponse is the same between an electric TD and a cable TD. the only differense is- that when you let off the gas of an electronic TD the revs take a lil while to go down. it wont be worth it taking it off
