If you want the best thats easily attainable, then you will want Mobil 1 5w20.
Its probably the most affordable synthetic too IMHO.

bingo. if you're not into trying to find redline, RP, amsoil, or Torco locally or order online then the Mobil1 is your best option

Re: 0-20/5-20 oil users (IT GUY)
i was thinking Either
Mobil 1 extended performance 5-20
Mobil 1 5-20
Amsoil xl 5-20( 7.5k/6months)
Pennzoil Platnimum 5-20
i like the m1 ep since its 15 k miles guaranteed. it 6.19 at wallmart a quart.
regular m1 synthetic is 22 for 5 quarts.
Amsoil is $7 at my local store but i can get a discount for like 4.50-5 a quart
Pennzoil P. is $20 for a 5 quart also.

Re: (HA0LEFIED)
first Number is referred to how easily it will flow at start up.
0 flows better then 5
so in reality a o-20 is better then a 5-20 or 10-20 if they ever make one.
im going to stick with 5-20

Re: (Bulli Kid)
Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 would be my choice for an OTS oil (and is what I use in both of my cars), it is usually cheaper than Mobil 1 and performs better in almost every UOA I have seen of both oils. I would have no problem running Platinum for 7500mi/6mo in a Civic, Hondas (other than the K-series rev monsters or the S2K) are ridiculously easy on oil. If I was going with a boutique oil, I would use Amsoil ASM 0w-20 for 12,000mi/1yr over any of the "cool" oils like RP (shears a ton, generally not very good performance per dollar), Redline (make sure you use their street oils, their race oils don't have detergents and will not protect against deposits nearly as well), or Torco.

IMHO, I don't care what Mobil says, I would never go 15k with no oil change. The oil may still lubricate, but there is still stuff floating around in there that it would be best to get rid of.

defiantly. ill run it if it was a rental or something lol
but yah city driving and 15k will kill your car.
i can see someone doing 15 k straight highway but still 10 max for me. And still i wouldnt do 10 on my car. i keep it to around 3.5-4k miles oil changes
