Valve adjustment
I have search but came up empty. I was wondering if anyone has the valve clearnace specs for our cars? I have a 1.7 EL (same as a civic EX i beleive in the states). It's a 1.7, SOHC VTEC with 127 hp. My valves are ticking and i am thinking a valve adjustment is due.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No, oil level checks out. Hell, i think i overfilled it by a tad if anything. So the D17s are known to have noisy valves?

Re: (Petah)
30,000 miles isn't unheard of for a first valve adjustment. The first valve adjustment mileage varies due to how much the metal changes due to expansion/contraction.

Re: (AcuraFanatic)
Yeah, i will check it out this weekend. Valve adjustment is pretty easy....i have done it on many B-series before.
BTW - valve specs: 0.007-0.009 int, 0.009-0.011 exh. This was taken from a honda shop manual.
