If his are anything like mine were, You could not resurface the rotors. The 2 parts places I took the old rotors to mic'd them, and they were already out of spec after only 15,000 miles.

But I drove the **** out of my car, so that may have been an issue.

Just need to replace the pads, and possibly the rotors... or, if the rotors are within spec, have them professionally resurfaced.

Rotors out of spec after 15,000 miles, sounds impossible to me. Sounds more like they just wanted to sell you rotors.. One thing you've got to remember is, less than half the people using those tools even know how to actually read it.

Just take your car to the dealer have it checked out correctly. Sounds like your front rotors are warped, common issue for disc brakes..

i used to have that problem too. resurfaced it but after 3000 miles, the shaking came back. then i decided to replace the rotors and 9000 miles later...no problem now.

Thanks for all the help, so the best thing to do right now is to get new rotors. How much rotors go for? And its not the pads right?

Sounds like warp rotors. Replace rotors and pads. Remember to tighten lug nuts to specs. Overtightened lug nuts can also warp rotors.
