Wow, that is crucial man! How much do these things cost? Do they provide better fuel economy for a auto transmission? What is difference between this intake from a short ram intake? It looks very neat. Is there a filter anywhere that needs to be clean? I would like to know more!!

i have always thought that all intakes for the d17 produce minimal if even any gains. . . i just liked this thing because of its clean look. But yea if any of you guys have found something negative about the simota aeroform let me know before i go crazy looking for one...haha

thanks in advance.

That is correct...you will not gain that much at all if any...but the look will be nice...plus the sound is a lot nicer.....and overall you might get 1-2 extra miles a gallon with the intake...And I haven't heard anything bad or negative about the simota aeroform...but I have also heard that the AEM V2 is really nice...I wouldn't know..I bought a $45 ebay intake before I turbo'd my car...

Icon6 simota from tss-tuning

have this filter on my em2. Don't really know if it improves anything, but sure looks a lot better than the old stuff.

Got it from TSS-tuning, located in Germany (country next-door for me )
