Default Short Shifters: REVO Technica vs. OBX

Okay, both look identical and are essentially described in the same.

Except the OBX is cheaper.

Whatcha think?

And yes, I know it says for RSX because they are interchangeable.

im not 2 sure of a difference and im not gonna look but i can give u some quick input on the revo technica.

there was absolutely no problems installing it, everything fit, was very simple and it made my car feel 10 times more fun to drive, completely awesome upgrade. if thats worth the 10 extra bucks to you to just buy the revo then i saved u the answer to this question.

OBX is not a company I would buy from, simply from their poor history with product quality (headers are known for their welds cracking, their LSD's are completely junk from the company and require a rebuild before ever being used).

I've heard nothing but good things about the revo shifter.

i agree with toyomatt's assessment of OBX.

Buddyclub also makes a short shifter as well.

obx makes "OKAY" stuff some of the time but ive had my revo box now for a while and its worth the lil bit of extra cash....in most cases you get what you pay for.

i personally had a OBX header and had no problems a friend of mine had same header on same engine and his cracked so its hit or miss. if your gonna do it, do it right go revo or buddy club. both shift boxes are the same except that revo is made of teflon and Buddy Club is made of pvc
