Hi,
The gear position indicator next to the shifter (PRNDD32) on my car doesn't illuminate when the headlight switch is in the on position. At first, I thought it wasn't supposed to illuminate at all, because that's how it was when I bought the car (used). It radomly started working one night, then it stopped working again. Is this a faulty fuse or a bulb? Thanks

Ive had the same thing happen in an older Accord i owned. I tracked it down to be a bad connection in the wiring in the center console. You could check the connection at the fuse but i doubt its the problem. I would pull the center console and check all of your connections as well as the bulb

Mine too... part of my dash is dim and my trip meter doesnt work.. I don't think the wiring/electronics are great in these cars

Here's what I did: I went to napa auto parts and purchased a new bulb for $2. I took apart the area around the gear lever and pulled out the bulb, and replaced it.



It still didn't work, however I did find out that one of the fuses was blown. However, even replacing the fuse didn't fix it, so I went to get the actual honda part, and it still didn't work either. In fact, none of the console lights (radio, ac) are working now, which was weird, because they were earlier.
