Default remote cd changer

I have a remote cd deck......My wife will never use it....can I just unplug it and use the single cd on the dash or is it more complicated than that?

Does the remote cd changer have any value? Ebay?

Thanks

Riick

Is it a factory one or an aftermarket? And how old is it? I always search the net to see if ones like it are for sale and to check the value

It is Factory.....Having resale is a bonus......My real question is can I just unplug it? I suppose I could just try...but thought all of the experts here could tell me.

Remote CD Changer? Are you referring to the in-dash 6-disc CD changer? If so, then yes, it is plug-and-play and can be removed whenever you like. I may be interested in it, as well.

Well, then you're going to have to do some serious interior removal, to get the wire harness removed for the CD changer.

Here's the changer installation document: http://www.handa-accessories.com/civ...2dcdchange.pdf

Just reverse the installation, and you'll be set.

That looks like serious fun... NOT! For that kind of trouble, I'd just leave the changer where it is. In today's age where MP3 and iPods are king, I can't really see you getting much $$ from selling it anyway...
