Questions about replacing Rotors and Pads for 2003 Civic EX Coupe
I am looking into getting the Front Rotors and Pads and Rear Drums replaced in my wifes 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Could someone recommend type of pads and rotors from local auto zone, advanced auto, carquest ? Should I get Ceramic or Semi Metallic?
Its just a daily driver and will not be raced or drive hard.

Advanced Auto's would be the choice for me, when it comes to brake rotors and rear drum shoes. Then, order some Hawk HPS pads for the front (online). More braking power than OEM, long pad life, and low dust count.

Good post! I was actually trying to figure out what I'm going to do on my EX when they go bad (though there is no sign of that yet)

Just curious how many miles on the 03 and is this the first pad/shoe change? I have an 05 that just turned 70,000 miles and I'm still on the original pads and shoes. I checked them and they are just a little past half of the new ones! I'm pretty impressed. My aunt had a chevy malibu that they didn't even make it 15,000 miles and the rotors were out of spec by 15K as well.

i'm at 45,000 miles also an 03 coupe... pads need changing. rotors are still ok.
i'm guessing the previous owner was a heavy brake user... i only took it autox once and generally coast to lights w/o braking
