koni fail
front driver side strut went out after only 2,ooo miles of "spirited" driving. I should of listened to homeless and curious G's(ithinkiitwashim) advice on running slammed GC/Koni combo. What a pain for 150 per strut.

Re: koni fail
same thing happened to me on my coupe (front-driver side) but i was on skunk2 sleeves. I wasn't slammed (about 2.5" in front). koni covered it under warranty. what are your spring rates on the GC's?

Re: koni fail
I called them and they were more than happy to hold up their end of the bargain. Still a pain in the *** to pull them out after 2,000 miles.

yes, it was me. and yes, i did have the Koni's specifically ordered by TrueHonda (which is a **** dealer btw but I wont start on them) for GC's and yet, they still went so fast. 1 set for me and 3 sets for skipbarber. my warranty however was not accepted by Koni. Oh well.

Re: koni fail
First: HP's are a oem substitute they aren't good if you want to lower your car, Illumina's were not made for em2/es1, Youre tokico option is Dspec, which I have had for 23000 miles and are still running strong. And idk anything about koni street...

Re: koni fail
not really...my blues squeaked from day 1 (have to lube them every couple of months). one of my rears also leaked after 1 month and tokico refused to waranty them directly. they said to go to the retailer but the retailer told me to go to tokico. in the end, the lifetime waranty was useless.

i ordered tokico hps from them. i also bought my spc camber kit from them. shortly afterwards, they changed into thmotorsports.com and i haven't heard much good about them since.
