hey guys.. I went to a shop to install my fog lights that i bought from ebay. They installed the lamps and did the wiring. The fog lights didnt work... Is it because of bad wiring that the fogs didn't work? and once i turned on my car, the check engine light went on.. how come the CEL went on? they told me to come back tomorrow so they can try to fix up the wiring or something..

UHmm, i read everything on that thread and after installing fogs light it didn't work. I double check everything from wire to ground and seem ok. I did actually everthing what it say there. I'm thinking maybe the bulbs might be faulty.

check power and ground at the lights. If u dont have one or the other then you wired something wrong, or have a bad connection somewhere.

man i bought some more and they came in today and i tried doing it the right why this time so i followed the post and i couldnt figure out where the grey plug went ( i think the pulled the wire and put in a plug that was already on the car if i read right) and so i said *** it and did this .... take the harness that plus into the fogs...plug them in... ground them..... and at the end of the harness should be one wire... cut it and get another wire ...connect were you cut it and then take that wire and put it around the radio fuse... now everytime you turn on ur car the fogs come on!!!!! takes 10 min after cuting the bumper

Just curious to know if this fog light buttom switch have to light up to show that it working? I'm thinking the wire on the fuse that i suppose to plug in are not attaching properly.
