Hi, new to the forum. My name is Joseph. I have been adding a few mods to my 01' 4Dr EX. Just got my Magnaflow Cat Back today. I hope to install it tomorrow, but depends on the weather.

Does anyone on here have any experience with Remus exhausts? I know they're typically a euro parts company, but I was contemplating getting one of their universal mufflers. I like the style and they appear to be pretty well built. Any help would be appreciated.

Exhaust is one of the easiest things to customize. If you can get the muffler, you can make it fit.

I've seen here em2 with a custom RSX-S exhaust. I was wondering if anyone had tried a custom Civic 2009 Si exhaust? They are selling me one but haven't seen it close and I don't know if it will fit and if there will be any real difference in the sound. Thanks

I had the Neuspeed Cat-back on my 03 EP3 and loved it! Had a great, non-obnoxious tone, seemed to make good power, and I never got hassled because it looked stock with the twin outlets.

Default Need some help choosing an exhaust

I'm looking to buy an exhaust for my civic. I'm looking for a clean sound, preferabley not to loud when I'm just cruising because I've already gotten a 380 ticket because a douche cop decided my old exhaust was too loud . But I wanna hear that baby when I step on it

If you put an aftermarket header on an 02 LX will it cause a CEL since it eliminates the cat.?

no. i bought a dc sports ceramic header for and EX then bolted it to a megan racing test pipe that had a high flow cat in it. then that went up to my dc sports exhaust. no CEL EVER and i've had this set-up for about 4 years now

Thats a pretty unique scenario. Usually it WILL throw a CEL. Unless you use the defouler mod.

Okarl, spoon exhaust is from a dc5, if you buy one that's what car you buy it for then mod to fit a em2.

Default Exhaust question

Hey guys i have an 02 ex and i had a greddy evo2 catback on the car for awhile. well i no longer need the exhaust on the car. will the mid pipe bolt up to an stock lx downpipe on a lx civic? To my knowledge it will but i may be wrong. and input would be sweet. thanks guys.

The exhausts are different between EX and LX. IIRC, the midpipe is shorter. You can give it a try, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

shorter on the ex or lx? If the lx is shorter couldn't a shop just cut down the mid-pipe to the length needed?
