Hey guys, i would like to know if i can use the Greddy SP2 exhaust for the DX on my EX coupe.

"DX on/to/and EX exhaust" in search didn't go well.. sorry i'm a noob. reason asking is some guy is selling a dx exhaust but claims its clearly for the EX. i'd like some experts to chime in before i buy

its the same length, there should be no reason why it wouldn't fit

headers on a 1.7 is useless IMO! if u want a smooth sound get a nice magnaflow, greddy, pipe and thats it!

hes probably worried about rust from the salts and snow i wouldnt worry too much about it unless u let your car sit for a long period of time with all the salt and stuff on it

Like portman03 said, "Read the FAQs."

In it you would have found this link which explains the exhaust differences between EX and LX/DX.

Default Exhaust clearance

Hello, I have an 05 Civic Sedan.
I have it on D2 coilovers that are only lowered an inch, but everywhere I go I scrape the exhaust.

I was wondering, is there anyway to clear the exhaust from the ground?
IE: making the hangers shorter.

thanks!

you could just cut them off and have new hangers made...pics of it tho would help..how low is it to the ground? does the exhaust hang low? cuz if u raise it to much ur going to hit ur bumper

raise the exhaust but lowering the car just one inch shouldnt cause the exhaust to scrape thats weird

That what I told everyone. They thought I was crazy till they saw my exhaust.
I will post pictures tomorrow to show you guys what I am talking about.

I think I am just going to take it to a muffler shop and see if they can make the hangers shorter.

Yes, I am talking about the same thing.
Its just the piping of the exhaust that scraps.

is it a factory exhaust?
if it's a bolt on cat-back exhaust, make sure you don't have one of your pipes in upside down.
