I need a d17a2 ecu so i emailed this guy and iam just making shure iam thinking its not gona work but this is why iam posting this. Will and automatic ecu work for a 5 speed?

YOu cannot put an auto ecu on 5 speed tranmission, but you could chip it to manual. YOu might wantt to take it to shop and let then do that for you professionally..

You can't chip a d17 ecu. OP you need a five speed ECU you will also have to have your key flashed to that ecu otherwise you will not be able to start your car. Most Honda dealerships can flash it for you.

It Wasn't Me

If he buys the ECU, ignition switch, key(s) and door lock cylinders from the same parts car he won't need the dealership to reflash anything. Just plug-and-play. It's more work, but it could save some money depending who he buys the parts from.

Ok i think iam just gonna sell the motor adn get a clutch and a full exhaust
