dc5 sidemarker BIG problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Default dc5 sidemarker BIG problem!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to install the side markers, and everything went fine. Then I wired them up.. 1 to black and 1 to green. Then went to light them up and now none of my blinkers work, hazards nothing.. All lights work, parking headlight and high beems. none of the blinkers work at all and i only hooked up one side please help!! What did I do wrong??????

Yeah, that's what I was assuming as well. But, I didn't make any final judgments, based on the fact that I don't know for sure.

All i did was splice into the green + black one.. Is therer a fuse or something that i blew.. blinker, and all trun lights dont work
PLEASE I NEED TO FIX THIS ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!

Sounds like you connected the side marker to the wrong set of wires, when you did it you made a loop you shouldn't have. I would disconnect your side markers. Then I would check the fuse box in your engine bay to see if a fuse is blown. If there aren't any fuses blown you have a shorted wire somewhere, most likely, and I would start looking for the wire or connection you fried. 1) Disconnect your side marker. 2) Check fuses in your fuse box. 3) If no fuses are blown, check the wires.

You didn't connect the wrong wires. More than likely, you popped a fuse. If that's the case, take the fuse out, leave it out, wire your lights, replace the fuse. If you're still popping fuses after you're wired up, you've got a short somewhere.

If you want them to function as:
1. Turn signals - use Red and Black
2. Running lights - use Green and Black
3. Both running lights and turn signals - use Red and Green
