2002 Honda Civic 66k

tested the battery, works fine (12 volts off, 14 on), yet light is still on
trunk is closed, light is still on ( alarm still goes off when the trunk is opened, so it is NOT a faulty switch/sensor)

Cluster makes a weird noise as the fuel gauge moves up/down when key is turned to on position. (I read somewhere gauges for 2002 were under TSB #1002 : http://www.carcomplaints.com/H...shtml )

ECU is throwing code P0600 aka "Multiplex Control System Troubleshooting"

Car has aftermarket stero as well as alarm, both functioning perfectly fine.

I would like to know where to begin trouble shooting this ? Will multiplex fall under this TSB ?

I know short/problem lies between/within multiplex/cluster/ECU.

I have no experience with multiplex systems at all.

I hope I've come to the right place .... hope you guys can help

I'm also having alarm issues (on a 07 civic ex). I'm being told that it is due to a faulty multiplex.
