Can someone confirm if this is the correct front jacking point for 2002 civic?
So I had my oil change done earlier today for the first time ever and I couldn't figure out how to jack up my car in such a way that i could fit my jack stand at the point behind my driver's side tire. so what I did was i just jacked up passenger and driver side of my car ( i have two jacks ) and didn't use a jackstand because i couldn't fit them in at the jack points.
the manual doesn't appear to say anything about how to jack a car and then place jack stands underneath the jack points.
after googling a bit, can you guys confirm if this is the correct location i should be jacking up? then in theory i'd be able to slide both jack stands on each side at once.

yeah it'll be fine to jack it right there so u can slide both jack stands on the side..another easy way is to drive your car on a peice of block then you can fit the jack under

I think the jacking points infront of the rear tire or the tow hook, thats the best for jacking up your rear.

most flat spots under the car will cave in if you attempt to jack it up on that spot i learned the hard way...

Thats a deff no, first off thats unsafe you have a piece of wood where the jack is suppose to be, I mean if you have no other spot to jack it up from yeah but without the piece of wood

actually its better with the wood. distribute the weight better. its definitely ok to jack from there.
the tow hook sits high in the rear. most jacks do not jack high enough to be able to lift the rear and put jack stands
