2001 Civic DX 97,000 mi automatic
Hello,
I was driving down the thruway tonight and it seems as though my car cutout for a minute at 70 mph. The dash lit up like a xmas tree and then I fiddle with the ignition and it cmae back to running again. This all happened really fast. But what happened after I got home is that when i turn off my car the green key flashed 5 times on the upper left side of the dash. Can anyone give me an idea what happened? The car runs fine other wise. I am wondering if this is an ignition issue. Please advise.

Appears to me that the ignition switch is going bad. Had this happen to my '90 Accord (sold) and wife's '99 TL with similar symptoms. Not all the hard to replace yourself. If you take to the dealer it should be ~$150 - $200.
