Hey guys i have a problem with my car i hope i can get some info to fix this prob.
A few months ago i replace my cars shocks and strut mounts cuz they were worn out well at least that what they told me, so i went and replace the front shocks and mounts but know i have this problem, every time i move the steering wheel it will make a cracking sound and when am on the freeway it will pull to the right not a lot just a little but here is the funny part when am driving back home from work the car will pull to the left.

so the car makes like a cracking noise when i rotate the steering wheel and while making turns, and pulls to the left when driving but while driving back will pull to the right or vice verse. They told me that the shop where i got my shocks replace didint install the spring correctly or sit it right other people say its my bushings, other people say they didint level my shocks i dont know.

any ideas all help is greatly appreciated thank you

The pulling to the right or left could just be the pavement or crown of the road - often times they are at an angle even though you can't always tell.

However, the cracking noise is troubling. There is a plate in the strut that may be the culprit but without knowing the exact sound it is very difficult to tell what it is.

Does it crack if you just sit still and turn the wheel? If so, I would suggest putting it up on jack stands and turning the wheel and seeing if someone can pinpoint the sound.

I would suggest trying another shop and seeing if they can at least tell you the problem unless you plan to tear into your own suspension.

Hi thanks for response, yeah the cracking sound is only when I'm siting still or I'm slowly backing out or pulling out once I pick up speed and make a turn I don't hear it. And here something else I forgot to mention when I'm on the freeway and reach 70 -80 mph my car wobbels like If I'm gonna lose control not much but a little.
