I prefer the look of Mugen MF10's and Rota C-10's over the MF8/C8 look. But that's just me. But for me I'd rather have that look for a few hundred than a couple of thousand. I just can't justify spending $2K on a set of 16" wheels for a Honda. Seriously. Rota C-10's fit the bill perfectly and look awesome in bronze 16".

Also this thread belongs in the Appearance/Cosmetic forum.

Weird, out of all the sets of wheels I've ever owned..ALL USED...only one had curb rash...and I knew that going in...WEIRD...maybe you should inspect them prior to purchase...

Damn these things are beat:

If they're not beat, then they aren't anywhere near the cost of Rotas, so it's irrelevant.

But - I like your Enkeis, good choice in wheels.

I literally LIVE on craigslist and the HT marketplace, I have never seen a deal like that. Those wheels could sell for $1000 with tires easy. Are those the 16s too??

Yeah to break it down...I've never spent more than 700 on wheels...

1- 18x7.5 Ray's G-Games 550
2- 17x8 BBS RG-R $400 (and I paid 200 to get 90% tread Michelin Pilot Sports)
3- Enkei RCT1 17x7 Traded for BBS and got 200 cash on top
4- Volk TE37 16x7 $200
5- Ray's Vesta Cal Choppy's 16x7 traded for Enkei's + 300
6- SSR Type-C 15x7 $475

My husband and his friends were drivin a db8 with my c8's and they rolled the car and the rim broke of from the center piece. So i'd say rock steelies for like a couple months n save your money for sick rims...idk though. =]

i think its safe to say that ANY wheel is prone to breaking if the car ROLLS OVER

They must suck at driving period. 2k for rims? Not reasonable.

I'd rather invest 2k into my motor then some nice rims for everyone else to look at.

Rota's FTW!

I had 16" C8's on my former 97' Civic DX hatchback in white. They looked fine, I prefer Circuit 10's though if I get the chance to get a set again.

Just click on the link and check out the picture.
You can see right where the rim and wheel hit a curb to cause that damage. Rota makes good wheels, and there is nothing wrong with them. They just have more reports of problems since they've sold so many more wheels than other companies...

Nothing wrong with an inexpensive knockoffs imo either, but that's just up to buyer.

FYI: I own Konigs.

I say as long as you like them, then get them!

I have the C8's in royal bronze for my ABP Integra and I love them. I think they are a good choice for my first set of wheels. After I can afford paint and other things I will deff be looking for some "real" wheels.

Plus having replica wheels I don't mind if they get scratched. My dad one winter put a metal shovel on my wheels and but a little scratch on them..I was pissed b/c who would do something like that. But if they were Mugens, I probably would have shot him

I'd like to know where you were able to find 16x7 Volk TE37 wheels for $200.00 if at Upgarage in Japan a set of 15x6.5 4x114.3 Volk TE37's with curbage is over $1100.00 still... Not saying it's bullshit but I would really find nice real deals for a good price.
