here are some random shots i took with my new canon rebel xt. it is my first time using an SLR. ive had it for 3 weeks already and have been playing with ever since. some pix have been touched up with PS.

Very nice pictures. Especially for a beginner to the slr.
I'm still trying to get one myself so I can't give you much tips with the specific camera...
But they pictures came out pretty good. Once you master the focus on those, the pictures will sharpen up sooo much, so keep getting experience.
The night color balances are pretty good as well, but the exposure time might have been a little too long for the pier shot. But I'm just helping out. These are still really good overall, let along for a 3 week old owner.
Keep it up. You get to explore now. I'm still making a sony cybershot do magic till a slr comes into play, but hopefully I'll join ya soon...
