Wheels back from powder coating!
I have always wanted the NT03Ms ever since I first saw them and just happened to run across a set on Craigslist for about $600. I scooped them up and took them home, cleaned them off, and assessed the damage from the previous owner.
Here they are in the light. I hate the color... too aggressive for me.
A little curbage... (I ended up fixing it all myself after the bends were fixed)
A few nasty bends
I picked these up around December I believe. Between then and now I had the tires dismounted, took the bent wheels in for repair, and ended up buying one more wheel as an extra just in case.
I ended up going to JTS Coatings in Lakemoor, IL. They charged a fair price to have the wheels coated in metallic silver (plain 'ol wheel silver was too dull for my taste). The pics don't do them justice, when the sun hits them they shimmer.
Here they are fresh from PC
THe wheel size is 17"x7.5", +40. I wanted to stay as close to OEM size as possible b/c this is my DD.
After I get the coilovers installed the wheels will go on and I'll be a happy camper! This is the first set of aftermarket wheels I have purchased for a car in over 10 years, so I wanted to do them right the first time.
**edit** New pics added

Re: Wheels back from powder coating!
Thanks! The one with the long rash I haven't repaired yet. I started but I'm most likely going to end up taking more material off than would probably be worth it.
The other one however, I sanded down and hoped that the P/C would kind of fill in the scratches, which it did just that. They look like brand new wheels.

Re: Wheels back from powder coating!
Never mounted on the car. Bought the wheels, stripped them, repaired & p/c'd them, and now had them remounted.
I'm waiting on finishing off and installing the suspension before I put them on (and I'm waiting on my lugs and Dency locks to get here).
I'll post pics as soon as everything is finished.

Re: Wheels back from powder coating!
i know!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The company I get the camber kit from is sending me a new arm because the one was seized out of the box. I asked them to expedite it but they didn't :/
and the lug nuts I ordered from Corsport are being drop shipped directly from Muteki, so I have to wait for them as well.... and it's already been over a week.
I'm not having good luck at all with these last few minor, IMPORTANT pieces. I think I'll just throw the suspension on and do the camber kit at a later date/
