importoverdomestic can i borrow 3gs? i know its not much but i could really use the money...thanks
lilcivicgirl what you should do first really depends on what your goal is...i didnt want to build a show car so i did some research saved up about 2 grand and bought my intake header exhaust and got a good deal on some coilovers and shocks...just figure out what your goal is and with a little research you will get your project started...most people here on HT are helpful with any problems you may have....good luck

Re: What to do first?
everyone is so nice to you about rice. I say make it flshy after you make it decently fast. Don't be rice like an axel back exhaust or an intake with a cool heat sheild that lowers your power. Make sure not to be stupid about it. My ex girlfriend has a dx coupe and she has all the ricer parts that make her car slower than it was. She brags about it and says it can beat civics with nos yo. Don't be like that. Please.

Leave it stock. If you don't know what you want to do, and listen to other peoples opinions the car is never going to look right. Do some research on the web, look at other members cars, get some ideas on your own and learn in the process.

i would lower it first, and maybe get a set of si or gsr wheels after that, keep it moderate, no exhausts or any alteezas toO, just lower it and get soem rollers, thats what my mom did to her civic, ill post pics of it, so u can see how a womans touch to a civic can look, lol

Re: What to do first? (LilCivicGirl)
Lower it some and find some rims that you like. That is how I started. Then save you pennies and do maybe a swap or put a turbo on it. But one thing that I stress the most. Please do it all correctly. I messed my CRX up bad by doing a lot of the **** myself and now I just have to deal with it. Do it all correct the first time. Then you will be a lot happier and less stressed out. And save the money to get the good stuff for it. Don't buy the cheap APC products and so on.
Good luck to you and welcome to Honda-Tech.

Re: What to do first? (S14)
have you ever had a lowered car in the snow?...it sucks ***...my old integra had a 2 in drop and when it snowed hard...i couldnt drive no farther than a few miles..snow gets caught up in the wheel well and you lose braking...i had to pull over a few times to kick the snow out mad drifts though
if you do lower it...invest in some coilovers..Ground Controls or Skunk2
