TFACA -56k=no-
Well, I recently Graduated from TFACA Nov 9th.
Tennessee State Fire Academy
We are very lucky to have one of the best facilities in the country.
I am personally very proud to now say I am a certified FireFighter I,
I would like to get my FireFighter II certification, however Its not required anywhere.
Following the Family tradition of Both my parents being FireFighters.
This Jan I will be attending Columbia State for my EMT.
I was approached after graduation by a Local city Fire Chief
and told to put an Application in, in Feb. :D
So things are looking Up for my future. I can't wait to begin.
Well here are a few pictures. These are all just of me pretty much.
There was a total of 1,200 Pictures taken between the students and I picked out a few
of myself.
There is a Video, However Its not done. It will come later.
Well I hope you enjoy the pictures.
I present, Class 2007-03
Having fun pulling people from a basement with the hose.
Me in the basement going up.
Jones!!!! An instructor
More instructors
And old marine fart
Me backing the guy up. Im on the far right side. back. The other guy in orange is doing it all wrong......
im on the left side, blending in with the pole...
half of our class
I have the #7 on my helmet
im on the right opening the hood to the car fire
Im backing up the nozzle guy
Class burn room. Just some pallets on fire. Thermal camera showed 890* within the room. not the fire itself....
Channel 5 News came out for some fun
That was them getting ready for the Smoke alarm test this did. It aired last week if im not mistaken.
The sunrise I saw every morning.
Got him about to sneeze. lol
Fellow student
ME
My ride while on duty
Us parked outside of where we were eating. Came out to get back in the truck and head back
to the station and saw a good pic opp. :?
I was so freaking Happy.
I was on shift, and we had a hard day of training like normal. and then had a Huge *** Gas Fire and propane fire and something else.
Was awesome as hell. :D
Instructors have to have fun on Halloween too.
Some more of me on the nozzle
The instructors got in on the fun.....
This is one of my favorite pictures. Me on the nozzle closest to the camera. Having a hell of a time.
Loved every second of it. although the 2,700* burning propane got a bit steamy
and another, Im the tall *** helmet stickin above everyone....
another, pushing the fire back.
The maze trailer. Finding and having to tie a certain knot inside the maze trailer
More fun with knots and rope in the dark.... maze trailer.
More maze action
Me on the left...
A few pics from the control tower
Foam action... But no girls :x
another pic of me on the nozzle
and another. I had so much fun. Im fukin tall....
Going in
About to go in....
PROPANE TANK FIRE! BLEVE!!!!!
Hope you enjoyed!

Re: (mtny)
Thanks guys, So much.
I had a question sent via PM.
mtny (3:58 PM 11/15/2007): how long did you have to attend TSFA and where is it? im in chattanooga.
The actuall Name is TFACA
Tennessee Fire And Codes Academy
The FireFighter 1 course is an 8 Week course.
Every Day Mon-Fri for 8 weeks.
6am-6pm normally. And during Burn week you must stay all week.
They have dorms On campus
However I have heard that they are changing the Course to include
the FireFighter 1 and your FireFighter 2.
This means it will be taken from 8 Weeks to 12-14 weeks
The next course is in March If im not mistaken.
But please visit the website.
