there are WAY better ways to create down force then the way that wing does it. you want to have as much downforce with as little drag as possible. that wing would be considered VERY eneffecant.

the duck bill does NOT produce down force. It smoothes out the air flow, allowing for less turbulance to be made behind the car, and less drag making the car more aerofreindly.

then you should know that the rules in NASCAR say the spoiler must be just like that. It does create down force, but unlike good effecent wings (F1) it also allows cars it get into drafts and be able to handle, (unlike F1).
