The Speedboat is in effect y0!! (EF Squad)
This is my application to become an EF Squad member, even though it's an EE! lol
I've owned the car since December 2005, and have bought some bargain's for it over the years, including my DC sports catback exhaust for £80 ($120)!
Done all the stuff to it myself, apart from some service work, including the headgasket.
Enjoy!
When I got it:
I soon got my hands on an EF9 spoiler... as well as some 14x6 Black Racing "Watanabe" alloys, Tein S-tech springs, and DC exhaust and 4-2-1 s/s manifold...
Wheels painted black..
Next up I got some brand new Access wind deflectors, and I tried out the Tein Basic coilover kit...
Tried out some EG6 wheels for a bit...
Me and my mates old Mugen EF8 after a day at the 1/4 strip
Gave it a good over-hall!
Picked up an EF9 rear bumper (which I sprayed myself, along with a fair few different rocker covers!) - and smoothed off the bootlock..
Custom made cold air feed..
Stripped interior and rust proofed arches from the inside
And how she looks today...
Money shot...
ENGINE:
- DC Sports 4-2-1 s/s manifold
- DC Sports cat-back s/s exhaust system
- Skunk2 test pipe (needed shortening)
- B&M short shifter
- EK9 gearknob
- Energy Suspension shifter bushes (red)
- Hondata intake manifold gasket
- ITG replacement air filter
- Hamp oil filter (serviced every 4k)
- Cusco radiator cap
- NGK HT leads
STEERING/BRAKES:
- 282mm MG ZR front big brake upgrade
- Momo Corse 330mm steering wheel, with Momo hub
- Cusco front strut braces
- C-pillar strut brace
- PasswordJDM rear upper strut brace
- Beaks rear lower strut brace
- Bilstein Sprint shocks
- Eibach Sportline springs
- Rota Group N 15x6.5 alloys, with Toyo T1-R rubber
BODYWORK/COSMETIC:
- Full set of mudflaps
- EF9 door stickers (round the right way now!)
- EF9 rear spoiler
- EF9 rear bumper
- Rear window tints (60%)
- JDM size plates
- Few stickers
- New set of rear stickers
- JDM flare holder with flare
READY TO FIT:
- Recaro Speed Evo IV front seats
- New springs, as the Eibach's aren't designed for the VT/siR
- And soon to be some B18C4 cams and a re-map
And I think thats about it! I've got loads more pictures, but I've gone a bit overboard anyway lol. Let me know if you want to see anything else.
Cheers

Re: The Speedboat is in effect y0!! (EF Squad)
Thanks for all the comments guys.
As posted, I need other springs to put on, as the ones I bought are for the EC/ED chassis, not the EE (Eibach Sportline). And theres no way i can drop it anymore than it is at the front, otherwise it would hit a lot of stuff (bad roads).
I've had coil-overs, but prefer set heights (im fussy, so shoot me!!). My other options for springs are the Tein S-Tech (35mm) or Eibach Pro-Kit (30mm), OR i could get one's specially set up for my car, but i'm sure that will cost a fare few quid!!
Any other manufacturers of springs that make them espeically for the EE/EF-8/9?

Re: The Speedboat is in effect y0!! (EF Squad)
you should post a write up abotu the air intake in the byumper. I've done plenty, but that one's very nice. What exactly did you use? There seems to be a plastic lip or edge around the cutout...
