Default Sold the Honda for the Goat!

I decided it was time ot get out of the Honda game for good finally. I enjoyed it while I was around for about 4 years, but I don't know that I will ever turn back. My heart has always been in muscle cars and I think I got the right one for me.

Couple reasons I didn't wait.

1) 04 is the year of the return of the GTO. And I own one!

2) The extra HP with the higher compression motor doesnt interest me all that much seeing as how I will get nearly the same numbers with the SC as they will with the same setup when I am done.

3) I couldn't wait for the 05 and I got a killer deal on this one.

It already has a Corsa sport exhaust system, and the SC is soon to follow this summer.
Driving this car is like nothing else, the powerband is simply amazing and in stock form I can pretty much keep up with anything on the road.

all good reasons.

i don't mean to bust your *** or anything but going from the LS1 to the LS2 and from 5.7 to 6.0 liters getting an additional 50hp and 35 ft. lb of torque and gaining bigger brakes would have made me wait.

I don't understand this term " game " ...
I sure as hell love driving a gutted acura with a strong motor ..
imo.. it's the passion of the feel that dies out.

The only thing that is important to me off of that list is the brakes, which again I would upgrade to the Baer Front/Rear kit anyways. Also this isnt a car I ever plan on selling, so to have the year of the GTO that it returned to the market is really more important than anything else to me. I actually plan on buy a second GTO in 06 or 07 depending on whether a Judge version comes out or the change of the styling. But I will never get rid of my 04. It means too much to me. I guess you really have to be a car lover to understand why I took the 04 over the 05 GTO, because believe me I could have easily gotten either one without issues.

I guess game was the incorrect term, believe me I had a passion for Hondas greater than most people, I just decided to move on and get into something new and when the opportunity was there I just took it. Spend 10 minutes test driving this car and you will be amazed.

My fateher just ordered an 05' in silver with the OEM areo kit. I am not a big fan of domestics, but............ with the numbers it puts out and the fact it looks almost idetical the the Holden Monaro I will have to give it a test drive when it gets delivered in the spring.

There is also one in the Tampa St Pete area of FL that runs 10s! Get used to seeing fast times out of these cars, there is an automatic in Georgia with heads/cam and bolt ons running very low 12s and should see 11s very soon!

Gas mileage is excellent when I am on the Highway, but I find myself punching it so often around town I honestly couldnt tell you how it is around town. On the highway I get between 23-25 mpg on an 18gal tank. Mine is a 6spd of course

For the last few years I have wanted to get a Chevy Nova or something similar. And luckily for us it doesn't get too cold here in Cali so the carb's wouldn't be such a problem as they are up north or something. Plus, a 72 Nova wouldn't need to be smogged or B.A.R.'ed ! As of now, I am getting owned by the B.A.R.

So what kind of blower are you going to get for it? God you're gonna have a shitload of torque with that GTO dude after you slap a SC on it.
