Slightly modded the M3 [PICS]
damn i havent posted here in over a year i think.. hope a few of you still remember me.. haha..
started off bone stock.. first night i had the car, i put on the 03.5+ LED tails, and a K&N intake though.. oh and the paint matched front reflectors..
then came the drop.. KONI yellows w/ Tein S tech springs.. perfect drop, perfect ride..
then i got a good deal on a set of the optional 19's.. loved these wheels..
BUT... a month later, i made a better move.. picked up a set of my dream wheels..
love that.. stopped for a while there.. then i noticed that not doing anything to the car made me wanna sell it.. so i started to spend money again.. next came brakes.. rotora makes a caliper kit that fits over stock rotors, and its pretty affordable, so i did that..
then i decided to start on the interior.. got a brand new OEM steering wheel, all new OEM titan trim.. just standard silver dash and door trim to replace the black that came stock in the 01's .. and i bought an aftermarket steering wheel piece to match.. some pedals, short shift kit w/ new boot and ****, and an ebrake handle..
this is before (new wheel though)
and after w/out steering wheel trim
and after with steering wheel trim
next to come for the inside: have the leather on the front seats redone, and upgrading the small 01 navi to the 16:9 widescreen.
and a couple engine bay shots with the old K&N 63.. i have the 69 now..

Now not to be an *** because I am purely curious... would it not have been more cost effective to sell it and get a newer model? I am not big on m3's so this might be a stupid question but fill me in Car is sick btw

i was without a car for like almost 2 months trying to find a really clean m3... my problem, i wasnt gonna settle for an m3 without stock navi.. all the 02's and 03's i was finding were either SMG tranny, or too much money.. or they had gray interior.. i wasnt gonna settle.. so i went to check this one out, and it was super clean, navi, stick, etc... i signed the papers... im sure i coulda bought a newer one if i held out longer, but being carless was getting old..

Totally makes sense Its not like finding the civic you want haha. There are a lot more options to account for and m3's arent on every corner. Beautiful car man keep up the good work

heh doing good man, I just posted a new pic of my car, about to hit 245,000 miles. I just went to the Chicago Auto Show with my fiancee. We're about to get married and I really want a 4-door car soon. Would love a TSX but I reallllly liked the new Civic Si 4-door.
