yea to have it glossier, and when parts from the bay were deleted or relocated, there were unpainted spots from the from acura/honda. i have the results of it painted, just need to get it loaded.

Re: (ECKOTYPER)
For those of you that purchased a tucked Harness for a b-series engine from Chase did he delete a plug off the bundle that goes to your vtec solenoid and temp sensor.
same bundle but on my stock harness (notice 2 vtec plugs, and 2 plugs that go to sensors on the block.
only 3 plugs on the tucked bundle.
it would seem he deleted the one on the block which i think is the temp sensor because of the length of the wire reaches the vtec plug perfectly.
but it still utilizes the oem colors for the one on the block but if i plug it there there's allot of slack left.
so is it just me and one of those doesn't have to be used or did he just forget to add one of those plugs? i was going to contact him but he still hasn't responded to my first question i asked him

you dont need it, it can be turned off in your ecu... thats why its not there.

Re: (M7EG6)
Updates on Allmotormikey's car. Allmotormikey and DBRtech finished with the body work and I sprayed it on Sunday night. Paint is milano red with a red pearl topcoat(pics do not do it justice, looks sick in person) Now DBRtech is starting on the brake/wire tuck, custom harness, and motor assembly. More pics to come

i would personally just try and find a spare one (maybe two) and either cut parts from one and mould into the other, or fill it with body plaster & bondo

Re: (Chris.)
I have a quick question for you more experieneced guys?Where are the boosted guys hiding there vacuum manifolds?I am asking since I need my map sensor to be plugged into the factory harness and have a vacuum line connected and no matter how I hide it it seems messy to me?

what can be turned off? the temp switch?
i would THINK the "missing" plug would be for the vtec pressure switch. cause the pressure switch can be jumped at the ecu. witch is done when a vtec motor is put into a non vtec chassis, or with a jdm motor using an usdm ecu

Yeah its for the pressure switch, only thing is that its on a Gsr chassis with usdm motor/ecu, I'm going to check to see if he tagged it to the seleniod wire some were inside the harness(since that's how people seem to bypass it) if not I'll just have to run my own plug. If I don't do that I might just have sh!tsweak chip the ecu not to read the sensor, but honestly I don't want to mod my ecu just because that plug is missing. that and I have to extend the Iat wires cus their setup for a non gsr manifold
Anybody know what kind of input the ecu recieves from the pressure switch is it ground or 12v?

booster is original, but kinda retarded IMO just due to the fact that if you spill a drop of brake fluid, bye bye paint job. though.

the vtec pressure switch can be turned off in the ecu.. a lot of stuff can.. chase deleted multiple plugs from my harness for me bc there is a lot you can turn off in the ecu..

the vtec oil pressure switch is a normally closed switch. it sends a ground to the ecu's input at low rpm/low pressure and at higher rpm/higher pressure the switch opens, removing the ground from the ecu's input. i bypassed mine using a relay that is wired to be normally closed and is triggered to open off of the vtec solenoid wire, this way im not actually sending 12v into the input like is done by simply tapping it directly into the vtec wire. hope this helps.
