old more mild setup back in the old days that i recommend.

Wheels: gsr blades
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 15x6? +50
Tire specs: 205/50 dunlops
Suspension setup: tein s-techs w/ stock struts
Camber specs: -1 or 2 all around
Additional comments about your setup:RODE BETTER THEN STOCK. was a nice decent drop that made it handle better and have that lower center of gravity. would recommend any day of the week for the best dd drive, and it did not even blow my stock struts with 6 months of use.

Wheels: Starline Mesh centerlocks
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 15x7 +14 front, 15x7.5 +22 rear w/19mm wheel adapter 4x100 to 4x114.3.
Tire specs: Nexen CP621 175/50/15
Suspension setup: Ground Control w/extended top hats, Koni Yellows
Camber specs: (-4) front (-3.25) rear. no camber kit.
Additional comments about your setup: This setup is a few turns from maxed out in front and can go quite a bit more in the rear. Rolled front fenders and pulled a little with hand, hammer and 2x4 in front, cut out sections of fender liner where rubbing. Rolled rear fenders and had grind down and bend fender tabs to eliminate rubbing. I didn't know what I was doing but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Rides nice when roads are fairly smooth, from decent to crappy ride depending on how bumpy roads are. I have it set up pretty stiff so have to hang onto the steering wheel and come out of the seat on bone jarring big bumps at freeway speeds, it bottoms out occasionally on abrupt bumps and most always on potholes.

great thread idea...i always hated browsing the "slammed ride thread" and never knowing what the suspension/whees/tire specs were...

Wheels: Spun KR-206 16x7 +40
Tire specs: Falken Ziex ZE-512 205/45/16
Suspension setup: Function and Form Type Ones
Camber specs: No kit...Who knows?
Additional comments about your setup: rides great...fronts still have 1 inch left..rears have about 2.5 inches left before max'in out...

I think you're talking to me, but apologies if I'm wrong. Thanks for liking the wheels bro, but your setup is fire! I hear you about another inch on the lips. It kills me that I am losing a possible 19mm of lip with the adapter so much so that I am always browsing the wheel classifieds for something lippier. I am encouraged to hear that you like em, maybe I can convince myself they are good enough and leave things alone for awhile.

yea i was talking about yours, i just LOVE the look of them, much more classy then rs's etc. in my opinion. if they were 16's id prob make you an offer on them. And tell me about keeping wheels, i always sell a good setup away thinking damn ill never top that, why in the world did i just do that. but it always works out lol. But my wheels are being sold in a few days, and just got word confirming my offer on the new set i want was good

If I had to guess I would say 15X8 +15 to +20 up front and 15x7 +30 to +35 out back. I don't know how much info people will actually be able to find on that car.

Thanks for the nice words about the starlines! I read this after I read and replied to your pm. I haven't been following closely what has been new on these forums, so what wheels are you getting next? You haven't had the current setup very long from what I recall, I like that. I am going to use you as a example to justify to my wife how the other guys on Honda Tech get tired of their wheel and tire setups and want to change it up often. I am not the only one, LOL!!! BTW my name is Kurt.

Seriously, the Starlines are super nice. I love old school small name boutique wheels. They have so much character and the best part is....you are probably the only one who has them in a 1,000 mile radius.

so im looking at buying some enkei j-speeds and they come in a 15x7 +25 and i was wondering if i was slammed would i have to roll my fenders? im running a 195 50 15 right now on my stock wheels but i could change to a 195 45 15 if it ment i didnt have to roll my fenders. anyway tell me what you think. oh i drive 2000 civic si.

suppp kurt, i have no clue what wheels i want, i have a few contenders but wouldn't say until i bought anyways. soon though yea this setup i put on thanksgiving, left back for school 2 days after, then drove them for a month winter break. so ive only been around them that long lol. and i change wheels often as it is the best way to get a new look w/o having to buy new parts, just trade wheels back and forth is fun and easy for me, plus i get bored fast. My next setup though im forking up more then i have yet on wheels...

prob to make decent turns and u turns with ease. also that setup wouldnt poke still giving a half inch or so of room to the inner fender. i still say a 195/45 as that looks better, and gives more room in the body as a 50 series tire would limit your drop max. also j speed 2's come in 15x8 +25 if you wanted to look into that.

Great idea for a thread. Here is one of my old configurations, sorry for the lack of full pictures.

Wheels: SSR Type C
Specs: 17x9.5 +15 F 17x8.5 +30 R
Tire specs: F: 255/40R17 Advan AD07 R:235/45R17 Advan AD07
Suspension setup: Mugen N1 dampers, 14kg/mm front, 24kg/mm rear
Camber specs: -5 Front -2.5 Rear
Comments: Ride is acceptable for a track oriented car, crashy over tram tracks and potholes but daily drove it for 2 years and 40,000kms with no issues. Around 1.5" to 2" more adjustment left on the coilovers. Slightly rolled rear guards and no modifications to the front guards at this stage. Rubbed slightly on the front fenderliner clips over big bumps, didn't track it in this configuration.







Here it is under load on track and with the front fenders pulled.
