Re: Rice or Nice? (Darryl Mussashi)
I say do the emblems,..but if your gonna do it on the front...paint the plastic around the Grill as well as the Emblem itself to match the body! Looks way better.Did it to my Type-S
take all the badging off(except the ) the rear as well,..maybe an "INTEGRA" emblem thats it?? up to you,...you asked!
Thats not pushin' it in my book,..but don't dare put the "R" emblem on it,..?Thats uncharted territory around here on H-T
DO what ya like!

Ya I like the red emblems. I think I will opt for the silver I think it is a bit more classy looking. But the red ones are badass. If you like it I say go for it.

why do people persist on spending money to make their car something it's not.. it's not a type-r when u bought it, and it'll NEVER be a type-r no matter how hard u try. its rice if u spend money and pretend to be something u're not.. its like those blue riced out civic si's(99-00) that rock SiR badges.. they THINK it looks nice, its something their car don't come with.. so i guess thats the verdict...

Hes not putting Type R badges on it. Its a Honda so he can put Honda badges on it if he wants. If he were to put Type R on it then yes that would be ricey.

Re: Rice or Nice? (spoonfed95)
I've decided not to go through with the Red "H"s
Now thinking about it, if I had an ITR again and saw someone with these, I probrably would think ricer mod too, so I'm not going through with it.
Stock is where its best
Thanks for all the input guys

correct me if I am wrong, but does HONDA make an RSX/Integra that isnt a Type R? (you know... JDM DC5-R, made by Honda)
I think putting Honda emblems on an Acura is atleast half retarded, yeah I know it is made by Honda, but if it were meant to have Honda badges it would have came with them.

The thing thats really retarded. As soon as you open the hood, HONDAs on the valve cover.
I wish North America would just stick to one naming convention. They have to make everything so complicated over here

Just be aware that a cop can give you a ticket for having improper badges on your car; and no they don't give a **** that Acuras are made by Honda and that's what they are badged as in Japan.

If you open the hood on a RSX, all you see is an Acura badge, not Honda like the older moder cars.

Something that you will never see unless you take off the spark plug cover. When you pop the hood, all you see is the A on the spark plug cover.
