Project 1992 GS-R. My build. Turning a teg into a tank...well....not really. 56k still?
The History - Over the past three years I have owned a 2nd gen Integra (first gen GS-R) that was purchased for a whopping $1000 from an old lady that didnt know the car reved higher than 2000rpm. Unfortunately it still did have 165,000 miles on it and......yeah....that same old lady..... had dogs. So basicaly the car was a nightmare because it had never be washed inside and out. The engine bay was stripped of A/C, PS, ABS, and other misc. stuff. Shoved an LS/Vtec in there and had fun for about 4 months. The insides cleaned up nicely too. Then myself along with Evan's-Tuning installed a stage 2 GT Full-Race kit which made a little under 300hp with stock internals. At this point the car looked something like this.......
Also you may or may not have seen this particular video of the car.

Full-Race GS-R vs. Drag EG
Well about three months ago I decided I was sick of having a pretty quick car with rust, dents, peeled moldings, and just stuff I wanted to do differently or redo all together. So I hooked up with a body shop that our dealer uses primarily who set me up with a deal I couldn't pass up. The misson began shortly after that was arranged. So the car was torn down to nothing basically. Engine out, interior out, dash out, glass out. The car was sent over to their shop.
While everything was appart I rebuilt the engine using CP 9:1 pistons bored the block 20 over. Stock connecting rods were replaced with Manley. All gaskets and misc. items were also replaced. And I set a new HP goal of 400. Sorry I dont have any pics of the actual build itself, but here is the engine.
The valve cover was painted using chalkboard paint. I liked the flat green look of it. And I had not seen it done before (although Im sure it has been done).
I wasn't sure that my ACT organic clutch was up to the task of my HP goal, so I went a little overboard with this guy.....
That is the Exedy twin disk in case people can't really see.
Here is everything mated up.
Heres a pointless closer look. BTW, that is the original YS1 trans with a current 200,000 miles on it (steel wool and carb cleaner are my best friends). That was treated to new case bearings, a couple of syncros, and a Quaife LSD.
I had a very rushed and haggard return line that worked but was troublesome because 5/8" heater hose was used instead of the correct -10AN line. So I remade one this last Saturday. The hose clamps on the old one (right side) were in place to "train" the hose not to kink.
As of now the paint and body work is nearing completion. Last time I stopped by they had completed paint on all the jams and the engine bay.
The color is called "Amazon Green" and can be found on some 2006 Ridgelines and Pilots. (The MDX also has this color too.... I believe)
Here is what waits for the car upon it's return to Scott Honda. A pile of parts.
All of the mechanical work is being performed by me at my work. Here's a quick picture of the shop.
Some of the people helping me are my friends Joey and Mike.
Joey has the hatch in the video above and no longer is sporting the Drag kit. All I can say is, it's much much faster now.
Mike has some kind of freakish' N/A engine (built by him) that has pushed his DC2 teg well into the 13's on street tires. He is only 18, but knows his 'ish. He will be helping me on the details of this project and keep me from getting lazy and half-assed with stuff.
My daily transportation has been provided by this piece
More pictures should be up tomorrow.
Thank You H-T.
Many more updates and toys to come, thanks for checking it out.

Thank you. It's gonna kinda suck goin to a dark color since its harder to keep clean but, it's worth it.

My area of PA! Nice GSR. My friend just picked up a DA, I'm thinking of switching from DC to one of them myself since his is looking quite nice to me. Good luck w/the new motor and reaching your goal.

I won that like 6 years ago from an inline competition. I used to be a fruit booter.
