I'm not sure about EGs, but on my EK sedan, the door panel insert doesn't detach from the door panel itself - its one piece. I just peeled off the existing OEM fabric. I could've done this mod without even removing my door panels from the door.

And for those of you who buy your fabric from Joann Fabric stores, download their app for the iPhone. Their app has either a 40% or 50% off coupon that you can use on a single item. That's a huge savings. I would buy my fabric, use the coupon, leave the store, come back in, buy the spray adhesive and use the coupon again. You'll save a lot of money that way.

wow, Thats highway robbery, fabric is super cheap, and even a retarded monkey could do this. If anything, them being pre-cut would make it more difficult to line everything up.

Yeah, I'd stay away from those. Just from looking at the pics, the fabric looks kind of cheap/low quality.

4dr eg. used torch and chisel to melt plastic tabes holding it to the panel.
spray adhesive flanell on. superglue back on
