Polished GST Wheel...finally finished...
here is the first of four wheels...that i finished.
so far...i have about 20 hours into all 4 of them.
i used 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit on this one...and it now looks like i wanted it to.
i still have a buffing compound which i'm going to try...but at this point i'm pretty happy with the results.
enjoy the pics.
here are the latest pictures...(i tried to show the wheels in direct light, indirect light)
here are a few more pics...after buffing compound.

if u just did 2000, then thats not bad. if u went lower, like started with 200 and worked up, itd be shinier than pall walls mouf.

yeah, that's what I was thinking. if you started with a lower grit, it would look even better.

speaking of GST's, theres a eclipse (99 style) that has acura RSX stock rims on it.
that threw me for a loop. didnt look TOOOO bad, if that acura cap wasnt there hehhehe

they just don't look bling enough for 20 hours

i was thinking that...
i'm just worried about the cost.
i'm a cheap bastard...so anything over 50/wheel would be too much for me.

some gst wheels are chrome...these were painted silver.
as far as wasting money each time the car needs to be fixed...i do everything as cheap as possible because i can't afford to pay someone else to work on these things.
i'm buying a house soon...so all of my money is going into that instead.
